better than veroboard, stripboard, and that other crap

Ok, so maybe this is a personal opinion. But I've built way to many circuits on stripboard, veroboard and the pad-per-hole nonsense. It is inefficient and frustrating. And that's one of the main reasons I designed the beavis protoboards. With the bread-board like layout, each group of pads gives you multiple connection points. No need to cut traces on vero, no need to make a rat's nest of resistor clippings, solder and wire on pad-per-hole.

the beavis protobread

the beavis protobread is the largest prototyping board we offer and is designed for more complex projects with a larger component count. It contains 30 rows of pads arranged in 10 sections. It is the exact same layout as a standard breadboard. Additional pads and routes are built-in to provide standard power supply filtering and a LED current-limiting resistor.

Power busses are available on both edges of the board. And additional set of pads at the bottom of the board provide a convenient place to solder input/output wires or other i/o parts. This is a one sided board: one side has the print layer (shown below) and the other side has the solder pads.

the beavis small proto

the beavis small proto is an ideal general purpose board. It provides 30 rows of pads arranged in 10 sections. It is the exact same layout as a standard breadboard.

Dual power supply busses are provided, one set on the left of the board and one on the right. An additional set of busses runs down the middle of the board for use as power, ground, signal, or whatever you define it to be. The small proto has solder pads on both sides of the board, thereby offering the ability to do ninja-like stuff, such as components on one side, all wiring on the other. Oooohhh...

the beavis picoproto

the beavis picoproto is our smallest board. It is essentially 2/5ths of the beavis small proto and is ideal for small projects like single-transistor fuzzes, boosters, buffers and similar circuits. the picoproto provides 12 rows of pads in 10 sections, dual power busses, and a central set of of busses.
